Custom Data Downloads

I'm a patent view newbie here and am wondering about downloading data. Is there a way to download data just for a particular location or are the only downloadable files the bulk datasets?

Hello,

You can use the query tool (http://www.patentsview.org/query/) to search for a specific location using either a quick search or advanced search. For example, you could search “China” in the quick search bar, or you could use an advanced search for “Assignee Location at Issue equals China.”

After that, you will need to submit your search and select the output fields you are interested in for your output data. Then you can preview the results and have them sent to your email in csv, xml, and/or json format.
