Hi,
I was wondering what's the proper way to cite the PV project in academic work. I guess a good citation should cite both the data directly and the paper/presentation describing the disambiguation algorithm.
Here is a tentative bibtex entry for the data:
@misc{uspto2020patentsview,
author = {{USPTO}},
title = {{Patents}{View}},
year = {2019},
howpublished = {\url{https://www.patentsview.org/download/}},
note = {Updated December 31, 2019}
}
And for the disambiguation algorithm:
@inproceedings{monath2015discriminative,
title={Discriminative hierarchical coreference for inventor disambiguation},
author={Monath, N and McCallum, A},
booktitle={PatentsView Inventor Disambiguation Technical Workshop, USPTO, Alexandria, VA},
year={2015}
}
Any suggestions to improve on these entries welcome. (Is there a DOI for the PatentsView database?)
Thank you,
Richard
