Dear Patentsview Team,

I was trying to merge the database "inventor" (containing info on inventors' gender) with the patent & inventor database "patent_inventor". 

However, I found that the variables identifying inventors ( "id" in the former database and "inventor_id" in the latter) are completely different in the two databases and, as a result, when merging the two datasets, there is no match.

Should I use a different dataset for merging?
