Pre-grant claims - merge to applications

I'm relatively new to the PatentsView data and am really amazed about the quality of the data. I'd like to use the pre-grant claims data but need to know to which applications they belong. Is there a way to merge the claims to the applications?

merging claims and applications

Hello!

The pre-grant claims table contains a column labeled 'document_number'. This is the primary ID used to connect PatentsView pre-grant tables together, including the applications table, which includes the application number, and the granted_patent_crosswalk table which contains both the application number and the patent number if the application was eventually granted.
