Hi all,

I was wondering if the assignee variable in pg_assignee_disambiguated data is the assignees in application files instead of grant files? Many thanks!

Yes - mostly!

There will be an overlap in disambiguated files across PGpubs and granted data. The assignee on the pre-granted published application should be the same as the assignee listed on the granted patent and pg_application tables. There may be differences between assignees on these documents in the raw files versus the disambiguated versions of the files due to algorithmic changes or errors, but the pg_application file should contain consolidated information from the pg_assignee_disambiguated file.
