I am currently analyzing patents that were either directly filed by government agencies or funded by government agencies but filed by external organizations. To conduct this analysis, I have been using the following datasets:

g_gov_interest_org: Patents directly filed by government agencies
g_assignee_not_disambiguated: Patents funded by government agencies but assigned to external organizations
I checked for overlapping patent_id values between these two datasets and found that 172,845 patents appear in both tables.

I would greatly appreciate your clarification on the following points:

Do these 172,845 overlapping patents belong to patents filed by government agencies or funded patents?
Could you explain the key differences between the g_gov_interest_org and g_assignee_not_disambiguated datasets and their intended use cases?
I would be grateful for a prompt response as this information is crucial for my analysis.
