Current CPC in pre-grant data

I find some potential data errors in current CPC classifications for pre-grant data. Some CPCs of pre-grant applications are not updated to the current version in the cpc_current data file. For example, the patent application with application no. 10600922 has CPC classes of Y02T50/12 & Y02T50/166 but in the cpc_current data file for granted patents, it is Y02T50/10 (patent no. 7048505). They refer to the same patent application/grant and are supposed to have the same CPC classes. Could you please help look into this issue? Thanks a lot.

Possible 2-week data gap

Hello Jack, 

Thank you for asking! There can be a delay in the cpc_current data because for the pipeline process because we pull down the data about two weeks before we release the update. Depending on how long its been since we’ve updated and how old the cpc_current data is when we pull it down, the data might not directly align with what’s on USPTO’s AppFT site. However, we are double checking to make sure that there isn’t a problem and will get back to you if we find anything.
