Missing patents in wipo table

ciao!

I found some patent_id's that are not listed in the "wipo" table, even if they are listed in "ipcr" table.

Example:

8321372

Why is this?

Hello Federico! We are exploring the commonalities among the patents which are present in the ipcr table and absent in the wipo table (~200k). We will post again on this thread when we have more to say!

Gaps in WIPO table

Hello Federico!

We found that a small set of IPC codes was excluded from a previous version of the IPC to WIPO conversion table that we use to derive the WIPO table, resulting in patents with these IPC codes not appearing in the WIPO table. The affected IPC codes are:
F24S
F24T
F24V
G16B
G16C
G16Z
G16H
The patents that had been excluded from the WIPO table because of this (including the example you give above) should be added in the next data update. In the meantime, the complete conversion table is available here.
