Dear patents view team,

I am looking for some more detailed documentation on the deceased_flag variable in the non_disambiguated inventor bulk datafile. 

From the dictionary site, I understand that the variable records if the inventor has deceased. Does this mean that the inventor was recorded as deceased any time after the publication of the patent, or while working on the project, after application but before granting?
